Poison Point - A Nidorino Shrine
Welcome to Poison Point, a shrine dedicated to the Pokemon Nidorino!
Nidorino was one of my favorite pokemon growing up and is still a favorite today! It is the quintessential pokemon to me, combining reptile and mammal traits into a unique design, and it is one of the first pokemon you see when playing Red/Blue or when watching the anime. Most importantly, it's PURPLE.

Facts
- Nidorino along with Gengar is one of the first Pokemon to appear in Pokemon Red and Blue and in the Pokemon cartoon series.
- Nidorino appears in Professor Oak's introduction in Red & Blue, but it has the cry of Nidorina.
- Nidorino's shiny color is meant to mirror Nidorina's normal color. Shiny Nidorino is blue and Shiny Nidorina is purple.
- Both Nidorino and Poipole are known as the Poison Pin Pokemon.
