Neopets - Poems

2026 Neopian Post: Red Fur & Stars
-About Kayla's potion-making, from the famous Darigan vs. Meridell plot. Originally one of the very first Neopets poems I wrote and I still really like it. I've submitted it to Neopets about 6 times and it never got in, but it is in an issue of the Post now!
2026 NT 1058: Button Eyes, Floppy Wings
- Written for Shoyru Day. The first poem I got into the new NT poetry format, after they decided to roll poetry into the NT.
2026 Scorchio Day: Big. Strong. Wow.
- The Haunted Weaponry Shopkeeper tempts you with a selection of goods. I wanted to write about an obscure character again and I love the Haunted Woods so I chose this guy. His tagline on the shop is "Big. Strong. Wow." which is where the title came from
2026 Uni Day: Support Your Local Uni Waitress
- About the Kelp Waitress. I thought this was an obscure enough character that no one else would write about her but I was totally wrong on that - 2 more poems in this gallery also feature the waitress! I didn't realize that an NC Token came out recently with this character, so maybe a lot do know about her. I enjoyed making this poem a little humorous.
2026 Chia Day: The Chia is the Powerhouse of the Cell
- Exploring plant cells with the Transparent Chia. I was originally not going to submit for Chia Day because I don't connect with Chias very much. Then I remembered the awesome Transparent Chia and knew I had to write about all the organelles in a plant cell.
2026 Lenny Day: A Tour with the Lenny Curator
- You KNOW I was going to write about the Curator for Lenny Day! I wanted to imagine him in a museum setting and go over all the different exhibits and collections that would be on display.
2026 Elephante Day: Petpet Professional Pacha
- about the Tyrannian Petpet Shopkeeper.
2026 Gnorbu Day: Pink Gnorbu Knowledge
- about Professor Lambert, one of my favorite characters.
2025 Usul Day: Haunted Woods Hero
- about Gilly the Usul. The first time I won the poetry contest! I had submitted several times before this and hadn't gotten in.
